Yes you heard right, Bern has bears pit. The story of the bears (at least according candy dishes to

To the city of Bern was really easy to get to, a single ride took us to the gas station which took us straight to Meaney Bern suburb where they lived and Katrina pair Matthias our hosts. One of the things that make it easier for interested hitchhiking is Switzerland each city and each region has a license plate letters symbolize the city. For example, a car from Bern labeled BE, so we could identify the right car easily. The Swiss love the flowers we saw on the way to Bern, as we tried to hitchhike from the gas station and next to us was an antique bathtub filled with colorful flowers. The motif of colorful candy dishes flowers have also seen later in the day in Bern and later tour in each city we reached Switzerland.
Mathias and Katharina answered the request of our sofa very quickly, but as I have already said, they had to take us on a problem which we asked for they traveled for two days of mountain climbing. They were so nice and even invited us to join them for two days of sightseeing without even know us, but unfortunately we did not have the budget to travel by train destination type, and rides a place we did not want to rely. Map to the end, we agreed we get them the next day (when they return from the trip) and we went out of there way to Lucerne we went to Bern.
When we got to the home of Mathias and Katrina are not yet arrived, and we we debated whether to keep the bags in the yard or the neighbors and go for a walk in town, or wait for them. Thanks to the wonders of technology - we sent them SMS which we asked when they were coming and we responded within 45 minutes, they would already be home.
When they got tired and dirty from the trip the first thing they did was pour the jug of water and give us grapes candy dishes in the dining area in the courtyard and sat for a while and we met this lovely couple. Matthias and Katrina both Germans who came to Switzerland is not like most Germans, just to work - but really to live and live as Witzrim. candy dishes Germans in Switzerland (and I'm not talking about the Swiss German part of the country but born in Germany) have little controversial status in the country. Many Germans come to Switzerland to work during the week and on weekends returning to Germany. This phenomenon candy dishes of people who come to Switzerland just to earn the money not so accepted by the majority of the Swiss, Germans see upstarts. German language also makes it difficult case, because although it resembles Swiss German, but is somewhat candy dishes different sounding Swiss rude and less polite. Swiss German example to get a beer at the bar say "Do you please bring me a beer?" While in German say "" I want a beer. " Matthias and Katrina both emigrated to Switzerland, but unlike the stigma of being Germans in Switzerland they moved their entire lives in Switzerland, and see themselves as residents candy dishes of the state and not residing in Germany who come just to work. They also connect more Swiss mentality and prefer it over most areas of Germany (except Bavaria for which they are very patriotic).
We went round the city while our hosts showered and rested today arduous. On our tour, we sat in a little park Rose and public services were impressed with the clean, well-equipped, including special bins were syringes for addicts. If you already have social services candy dishes so until the end. We arranged to meet later with our hosts beer (first after the Passover should be) at the pit of bears.
Yes you heard right, Bern has bears pit. The story of the bears (at least according candy dishes to what our hosts told us) is heavenly middle nobility Bern visited Paris and saw a bear captivity. They loved the idea and decided that they want to bear in so they stole the bear Paris, dug a hole in the ground at the edge of the old town of Bern and His name the bear stolen. Parisians candy dishes do not like the idea of stealing them, and they came to Bern, did Well - well - well and took their bear back. Members of the Berne did not despair and decided to get their own bear, and they did. Bear lives in the hole Recreation inhabitants, and every time you put a bear is replaced with a new one. Animal rights groups were in vogue these days ... At some point people realized that a large bear tiny broken it's not so nice and they dug a hole bigger than the pit near existing and moved the bear to his new home and friends candy dishes joined him. About two years ago (!) Decided Bern tiny ignorance perhaps less suitable for the bears, and they built a large bear park by the river, candy dishes next to the original pits. Where the bears have more space, trees and grass and have a place to play.
When getting late and we became hungry we went back to the apartment lovely Katrina and Matthias are vested us a delicious dinner of fresh pasta with herbs and mozzarella. While dinner was cooking delicious local cheese Nisnsno most peculiar facility never saw manufactured chips cheese!
Bern's famous clock. It is decorated so beautiful and every hour is making a play with the figures coming out of it, but contrary to his room the play clock so short and lame. Leaving dozens of people staring at the clock in disbelief and waiting for something more to happen, but nothing happens. For those who come to Bern - half-way between the watch bears an old canal where water flows in different directions without any scientific sense. This is the puzzle that made me run a little brain, and finally found the solution. I recommend anyone who comes to the city to look for it.
Berne stay was very pleasant. Despite being the capital of Switzerland is a quiet little town, that maybe is the microcosm of the country. We had lovely hosts had great fun talking candy dishes to them and spending time with them, these could just as easily be our best friends if they live in the country ... great fun to feel out of place that you go to, and such a place even leave you some of it even after you leave. The breeze and the generous assistance of Katrina and Mathias stayed with us and we hope to meet them in Scandinavia later trip, when they begin their trip around the world. And more street fashion column this time from Croatia (yes, this is the next destination after a trip to Switzerland!)
So fun to read your reports! Makes me wish my trip to Europe a decade ago was a Ioroleins not like yours.
Wow, a post
